Patek Philippe
the reference 570

During the 1930's Patek Philippe introduced the reference 570. Some years later than the original Calatrava reference 96. Showing the same iconic design like its predecessor, reference 96, the diameter of reference 570 increased from 31 millimeter to 35,5 millimeter. For around thirty years in production the watch was avaible in yellow, pink and white gold, also in platinum and rarely manufactured in steel. Fitted either with caliber 12''' – 120 and 12''' – 400, then showing small seconds. Or with caliber 12'''SC or 27SC, then featuring a sweeping center seconds. Often described as one of the best dress watches in the history of wristwatches, reference 570 never went out of fashion and still feels modern until today. This is an opportunity to acquire one of those reference 570, cased in white gold, in excellent condition. The case remains strong with sharp edges, the dial is almost flawless only the faceted white gold hour markers show a light but charming aging. The movement is maintaned fresh and keeps excellent time. Furthermore this watch will be delivered with a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming its date of manfacture in 1962 and the date of sale on November 12th, 1962.
